The installation was a wee bit confusing, but I am not a camera/computer wiz. Aside from that, if you want a basic camera without all the frills, this works. I have only used once so far, and it seemed to work fine- it seems to be basic, but it works. It does not easily attach to my laptop however, so if that is what you're looking for, keep looking.
There were many different ones that I wanted to choose but the features I found to be above average. I highly recommend this camera to anyone new to the webcam world. As I was searching for a new camera, I came across this new one since having it lives up to its potential. Also not because it is Microsoft its suppose to be better quality, but because the ease of installation, and the quality of call.
Worst one I have owned yet. The picture quality of this webcam is horrible. If you want high clear quality, do NOT buy this.

It was the talk of the holidays and we don't feel so far away from each other anymore. Microsofts LifeCam was the perfect choice because not only were my parents able to get the webcam up and running quickly, but it doesn't cause issues or lag in their older pc's and works just fine. For the holiday season I was searching the internet trying to find the web cam that was easy to set up, and cheap (but not cheaply made). My parents are fairly tech savvy, but their computers are a little on the older side. We use MSN to chat and it's been so effortless that my mother loves it.
